Presented by the Brazilian Academy of Science, José Marengo, head of the Center for Earth System Science of the National Space Research Institute and an author of the new report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC-AR5), presents the results of the Summary for Policymakers (SPM) of Working Group 2 (WG2). At the press conference, aspects related to Brazil and the Americas will be highlighted.
This is followed by a panel discussion with Brazilian IPCC authors including Carlos Nobre, Maria Asuncion Silva Dias, Carolina Dubeux, Fabio Scarano, Jean Pierre Ometto, and Marcos Buckeridge.
